The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services, an intensive care unit, a cardiovascular institute, an open-heart surgury center, as well as orthopedic and neuroscience services, and more.

The Assisted Reproductive Technology Services (ARTS) Program, at Presbyterian Hospitals of Dallas and Plano, is the only center in Texas to make the list of the "10 Best Fertility Centers" in the United States, as researched by Child Magazine. Presbyterian Healthcare Services was named "Best Baby Talk" by D Magazine for baby sign-language classes offered at the Allen, Dallas, and Plano hospitals. Presbyterian Hospital's $120 million expansion project includes the Sue A. de Mille Tower, which holds 114 new patient rooms. It opened in 2006.

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano opened in 2004, bringing a century of healthcare experience as part of the Baylor Health Care System. More than 600 employees and 350 physicians comprise its staff. The 350,000-square-foot hospital provides an upscale, elegant atmosphere with 96 inpatient beds and 32 day-surgery patient beds in larger-than-average rooms.

Baylor Plano is one of a few hospitals in North Texas utilizing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-guided breast biopsies on a regular basis to detect breast cancer. The hospital offers emergency services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano is the first and only freestanding hospital in Collin County dedicated solely to heart and vascular healthcare. The $100 million, 68-bed hospital opened in 2007 and is designed to maximize the delivery of safe, quality, compassionate healthcare. The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano was created through a partnership between Baylor Regional Medical Center and Plano and 86 cardiovascular physicians and surgeons practicing in North Texas.

Richardson Regional Medical Center, located just south of Plano, has provided medical, surgical and behavioral health services for more than 25 years. The hospital staffs 700 physicians, including specialists in neurosurgery, cardiology, OB/GYN, gastroenterology, oncology, and more.

A $5 million expansion at the Campbell campus increased capacity in the emergency room by 44 percent and brought a new patient floor featuring 27 junior executive suites.

Children's Medical Center Legacy began construction in the fall of 2005 in the Legacy Town Center. The full-service hospital will serve the growing number of children and families in Collin and Denton counties and features 60 medical/surgical beds, 12 ICU beds, four operating rooms, full-service diagnostics including CT and MRI, and an emergency care center. Completion for Children's at Legacy is set for the spring of 2008.

Medical City Children's is conveniently located at Forest Land and Central Expressway. The pediatric specialty hospital provides comprehensive care for children from birth to age 18.
