Heritage Farmstead Museum
This living museum is a reminder of Plano’s early years. Formerly the home of pioneer sheep farmer Ammie Wilson, the 1891 Victorian homestead appears to be frozen in time. Self-guided tours are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person; children 4 and under are free. Docent-guided tours are Thurdays and Fridays at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3.50 for students and seniors 62 and over.
