If you ask Gail what she did over the weekend, she will inevitably reply, "I spent the weekend at the stables." She has ridden, taught, and competed on American Saddlebred horses for years. Both of her daughters caught the bug, so all three of them can usually be found with a horse or talking about a horse show. Gail believes so strongly in the sport that she serves as a mentor to young riders and is active in the Big D Charity Horse Show and serves as the president of the North Texas American Saddlebred Horse Association and other national organizations. Her husband prefers horse power to actual horses ... he builds street rod cars!
