Who knew? Karen's childhood ambition was to be a back-up dancer for Tina Turner! Actually, she would be great. Her love for laughter, music, and entertaining are indications that she would have done Tina proud.
The Texas Tech graduate has lived in the Dallas area since she was 15 years old. One claim to fame that she loves to tell is that her two oldest children graduated from the same high school in Dallas as she did. Her youngest is a senior at a local Christian school so she is focused on all the activities that are required these days for parents of graduating high school students. In her spare time, Karen can be found either spoiling her grandson or boating on Possum Kingdom Lake ... sometimes both at the same time. |
Before joining the Plano Profile advertising sales staff in 2002, Karen worked as the events coordinator for Wednesday's Child and as a realtor. Her community volunteer experience includes membership in the Junior League of Richardson where she served as the gala co-chairman, gala entertainment chairman, gala decorations chairman, and rummage sale chairman. She also has spent hours volunteering in the PTA, at Wednesday's Child golf tournaments, and a variety of other endeavors.
Karen says that her favorite part of her job is building relationships with her clients and helping them achieve success in their businesses. Obviously, she loves people and is a natural fit with sales and advertising. |
