Collin College president Dr. Cary Israel hosted the President’s Circle dinner in May to dedicate the Living Legends Conference Center at Plano’s Spring Creek Campus. The President’s Circle acknowledges leaders who have donated much-needed funds to the Collin College Foundation. New members for 2011 are Farmersville Economic Development Corporation, Junior League of Plano, Plano Rotary Club, Mary Lou & Will Smith, Dr. Myrtle Hightower, and Trudy and Cary Israel.

The reception included a buffet dinner followed by welcoming remarks from Dr. Israel, and Frisco Mayor Maher Maso, who is chair of the Collin College Foundation Board of Directors. Next, was the dedication of the conference center and recognition of the Living Legends. Collin College Vice President/Provost of the Preston Ridge Campus, Toni Jenkins, gave closing remarks.
