Retiring state representative Brian McCall was on hand last month to help Mabrie Jackson officially kick off her campaign for the District 66 seat. Some 300 supporters and many other candidates in the upcoming primary filled the Haggard Party Barn. Jackson resigned her Place 3 seat on the Plano City Council to run for state representative. Early voting begins Tuesday, February 16.
