As the temperature soared, golfers kept their cool at the first annual Plano Community Charity (PCC) Golf Tournament, held July 24 at Los Rios Country Club. Participants included Executive Director Dr. Myrtle Hightower, Dr. Ted Fortier, Arthur Young, Robert Blackshire, John Burkhalter, Robert Dubois, Jimmy Dismuke, Audrey Wilson, Compass Bank’s Kimerly Aucoin and Henry Johnson, and former Dallas Cowboy great Drew Pearson, among others. Although turnout was light for this first effort, plans are already underway for next year.

In addition to the Resale Shop, PCC provides a variety of emergency support to families in need of assistance in Plano and Collin County.
